The RDA welcomes Artist Vendors to participate in selling and/or demonstrating their works specific months of the year during Art Walk. Artist Vendors will be invited to participate once their application is accepted. Please read the list of guidelines for Art Walk before applying.

APPLICATION:

  • Artists are required to complete an application, being as descriptive as possible regarding their artwork.
  • If approved, the artist will be contacted directly.
  • Applications must be received at least 48 hours prior to the event.

FEE:

  • The cost of participation is $50 for a 10×10 space.
  • The artist is responsible for bringing all materials needed to sell and display their work (tables, chairs, tents.)

ITEMS NOT ALLOWED:

  • There are certain items we cannot allow to be sold at the event. The items are (but not limited to) beaded bracelets, gemstones/crystals, and soaps.
  • If we deem any item to be inappropriate for our event, it must be removed.

SET-UP & BREAKDOWN:

  • The artist is responsible for set-up and breakdown on the night of the event.
  • Detailed information regarding times and rules will be sent before each event.

ELECTRICITY:

  • Electricity is NOT guaranteed.
  • Our power source comes from the city-operated light poles and is often unreliable.
  • We have no jurisdiction over them and cannot be held accountable if the electricity isn’t properly operating during the event.
  • We HIGHLY encourage you to bring solar-powered or battery-operated lights.

SPACES:

  • We reserve the right to assign spaces, primarily to ensure that an artist is not located near a store or vendor with similar items.

WEATHER:

  • SWFL weather can be unpredictable at best, but we will make every effort to proceed with an event. 
  • Because rain and gusty wind can occur suddenly, we ask artists to bring whatever is needed to protect themselves and their artwork.
  • The RDA is not responsible for any damages that may occur.
  • Should we decide to cancel an event prior to set-up, your fee will be refunded.
